Chambers and Brighty are a small independent firm of Funeral Directors serving the community of Wellingborough in Northamptonshire UK. We are Jeff Brighty, and Ian Chambers.

We provide a full Funeral Management Service. We also offer help and advice for those who wish to invest in Funeral Plans.

Serving the community of Wellingborough

We have been providing a Funeral Director Service within the community of Wellingborough for over 30 years. We have established a close trusting relationship with many Wellingborough families.

We are an independent business. This means we are able to provide sensitive and personal family service. We both deal with family's ourselves, making arrangements to suit your own needs. We try to make an event like a funeral as straight forward as it can be.

Managing everything for you

You can call us 24 hours a day. Arrangements can be made in the privacy of your home or if you prefer, at our Wellingborough office.

All of the external parties (such as The Crematorium, The Church, Solicitors, Clergy, Local Council, Hospitals DSS etc.) are managed for you. We look after the deceased until the day of the Funeral. We provide vehicles and personnel to carry out arrangements on the day.

Providing the Funeral that you want

Chambers and Brighty can provide traditional burials and cremations. We can also cater for those who have specific requirements such as environmentally friendly burials (using biodegradable coffins) and green environment burials where the deceased is buried in a dedicated woodland area.

Planning ahead

Many people choose to plan ahead for funeral arrangements. We provide a number of well respected nationally recognised funeral plans from "Golden Charter - Funeral Plans".
